  St Marks UMC is an excellent choice for families and people of all ages! There are two traditional services every Sunday at 830 am and 1045 am, as well as a contemporary service called Refuge at 1045 am. We love Refuge! Contemporary Christian songs performed by a fantastic band, great fellowship, wonderful youth group activities and plenty of fun activities for younger kids during the service and through out the month. St Marks is more than a place to worship, it is a family.

  My son passed away at 4 years old. The pastoral staff never came to see him or my family the whole time he was on life support. They didn't even try to come the day we pulled the life support. Peter, the head pastor, said he wouldn't be at the funeral. Funny thing he showed up and wearing a suit when that was not what we wanted. I did not hear from any of the staff after the funeral, even though Peter said he reached out. The pastors seem to only wanna work 8-5 and not available any other time. Try to find a different church, because this is not how a real Methodist church works!

  Great church, great leadership, great facility, great music, great atmosphere, great people – that worship a GREAT GOD!!
  
  St. Mark’s UMC is a great place to worship, meet new people, learn, grow, share, and experience faith. There are lots of youth activities, adult activities, and a variety of ways to get connected.

  Great place to work and worship. The staff is amazing and dedicated. The Pastors are forward thinking and want to genuinely reach the people of Baytown with the message of Christ. Great kid's events happening all summer and two great ways to worship together, contemporary and traditional. St. Mark's is always busy, stop by and see what we've got going on!
